Roots vacuum pump, also known as mechanical booster pump, is a volumetric dry vacuum pump and one of the main equipment to obtain medium and high vacuum. Two 8-shaped rotors are used to rotate synchronously and reversely in two semi-circular pump chambers to complete the process of air exhaust. This pump cannot be used alone, and it must be used in system with the backing vacuum pump, such as screw pump. The ultimate pressure of the roots pump depends on the structure and manufacturing precision of the pump, and also depends on the front stage pump. The data in the table is the lowest limit pressure when the screw vacuum pump is backing vacuum pump.

Design Features
1. High compression ratio: The rotor has a patented type line. It can have a large rotational speed within a wide pressure range (1~1x104Pa).

2. Clean and environment-friendly: the pump chamber is oil-free, and the side cover adopts patented seal to avoid oil vapor contamination of the vacuum system.

3. High reliability: patented shaft seal prevents the pumped medium from entering the bearing chamber, resulting in emulsifying failure of lubricating oil.

4. Low vibration: as a G1 level dynamic balance, the rotor has low vibration and noise.

5. No positioning pin combination: the o-ring seal is easy to maintain with low cost and high life.

6. High-standard configuration: imported bearing, grade 5 gear, German standard coupling.

7. It cannot be used alone, and the front-stage pump must be equipped.
Suggestion: the maximum pressure difference between inlet and outlet is 15~20Torr, depending on the specification.
